You understand that if you are buying a tattooed ID today for your pet, that once this identification is placed on your pet it becomes permanent and that this number will stay with the animal for it’s life. One can transfer pet Profile/member ownership, by simply calling us here at Pet Tat’s! If an animal is sold to another owner for any reason one should always transfer members ownership! This site is meant for animal record keeping and identification purposes. If you, the owner and member do not keep the correct information for your pet, this site will not work in your pets favor! Therefore, please always update your pets records!
By signing up you understand that keeping emergency identification updated is solely the responsibility of the pet owner! Our company does not input personal information for you. We only keep online records for you, your vet and your pet. We can only displays information that a pet owner has entered and are not liable for anything you or others may have or have not posted on our site! Please note, Pet Tat’s Record Keeping does not give medical advice. We do however refer veterinarians that can and are willing to apply the Pet Tat’s tattooed ID numbers! Your Pets ID# will need to be applied after purchase on your pet! We, at Pet Tat’s, are only responsible for issuing the personal identification numbers and keeping your pets important records online for the sole purpose of providing information to assist in the recovery of any lost animals! Of course, by joining, you understand that veterinarians and animal hospitals must carry insurance for all animal procedures! Therefore, we are also not liable for any medical procedures performed by a recommended veterinarian in there own private practices. So as our customer you understand that we are only affiliated with these offices listed on our site and you do hereby agree to hold harmless our company (Pet Tat’s Record Keeping Service) for any mishaps or malpractice that could unfortunately happen to a pet during it’s visit to a veterinarians office. Also, by becoming a member of our services you understand that it is up to you to choose the vet that you will take your animal to!
Pet Tat’s does not advise one office over another or any specific offices for tattoo application quality. Pet owners must do their homework to make sure the medical professional is the right fit for their pet! By signing up for a pet-tattoo you understand that you are choosing to administer the pet ID numbered (tattooed) on your animals skin (and you are choosing to do so of your own free will) you also understand that tattoos have minimal risk, but like any medical procedures there are some risks involved! Please talk to your vet about all risks before choosing to sign up for a tattoo-able ID! If you decide not to tattoo your animal! That’s Ok! You can still become a member and use our services. The ID number can be sent to you on a collared tag instead! By purchasing (The Id Tag on our sight) Furthermore, we are not liable for lost ID tags and replacements have a separate cost. Again, we are solely an online resource for your pets record keeping!
We are a secure website that holds your pets records and they are safe with us. Pet Tat’s will not sell your personal information! And we will never contact you to solicit. However, our site keeps your pets personal emergency contact information page public. So anyone who finds your animal can view it. We want to be clear that the information you provide on this specific emergency page is public. Furthermore, the information you provide on that page is optional and up to you! Your pets records page and other pet records you chose to keep with us will remain private. That being said, Pet Tat’s can not be held responsible for public information you choose to provide about your pet or if it is miss used by a third-party! So please be careful of what you provide on your pets public emergency page. Never the less our site is designed so that your information will not be displayed unless your pets specific personalized identification number is typed in. This is intended to keep your animals information hidden unless it needs to be found. All in all we cannot control who sees the emergency contact information you choose to post about your pet! We, at Pet Tat’s are also not responsible for following up or making any appointment to get your pets tattoo number placed on the skin. We do however provide recommendations on our site to the veterinarians that know how to provide these services. You must make your own appointments. Your tattoo appointment may have a separate office visit fee. These fees are solely collected by the vet of your choice. If you have any questions about fees, or tattoo procedure details please call and talk a your vet about the administering of a Pet Tat’s tattoo prior to purchasing your ID number on our site! After purchase, you are responsible for double checking that the ID# that is being tattooed on your animal( is your correct ID number) before the Technician administers it! Finally by purchasing the Pet Tat’s personal identification number from our site you are agreeing to become a member and by joining you are consenting to all of the terms stated herein.
